Enjoyable hot springs I had a nice time at this hotel. the hot springs were definitely the best part of the experience. the communal baths had a great view of the surrounding area and the water was refreshing. the staff was hospitable and welcoming, which made the stay more enjoyable. the hotel was also conveniently located near local restaurants and stores.
Misleading advertisement the biggest issue I had with the hotel was the advertising. the room was cramped and the amenities were not as advertised.

The location gave us easy access to historic sites, the city centre, and even the stunning Gifu castle. the breakfast was exceptional, with a lot of local specialties to choose from and they also provided haori and yukatas which was nice. the staff were friendly and the room had a nice view of the river. We also enjoyed the library, aroma pot, and massage chair in the hotel.
The room size and the shower facilities were not up to the standard we had expected based on the hotel's advertisement.

The Japanese experience was unforgettable. The staff was incredibly attentive and went out of their way to make sure our stay was fabulous! The rooms were traditional and well-decorated, and the outdoor baths were a highlight. The breakfast buffet with a lot of dishes to choose from, both Japanese and Western cuisine, was also impressive. Conveniently located near public transportation.
There was nothing to complain about during our stay. Some parts of the hotel were a bit outdated, but it added to the charm.

The staff were extremely polite and helpful, even with language barriers. The breakfast buffet was impressive. The hotel facilities, including the onsen, were well-maintained. It was easy to travel to the main attractions from the hotel's location.
Nothing at all.

Our Japanese experience at this hotel was luxurious and unforgettable. the tatami room with its amazing view of the river and impressive amenities, like the yukatas and special treats, made us feel like royalty. the massage and hot spring bath were incredibly relaxing. the full body massage left us feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. the Japanese cuisine breakfast buffet was mouthwatering. The location was also perfect, providing us with easy access to the train station and shopping area. Cons: the only minor issue was that the turn down service left the futons and bedding quite late in the evening. this luxury experience surpassed our expectations and exceeded our needs.
